Listen to The World is Flat — for Free

by Jason Berberich

Stepping into the wayback machine for a moment, three years ago I highly recommended that you read Thomas Friedman’s excellent book, The World is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century. The book’s topics - technology and globalization - are even more relevant than when it was first released.

So, if you haven’t had a chance to read this book yet, Friedman has a great deal available for a limited time. If you go to his site and sign-up before August 4th, 2008, you’ll be able to download the audio book version absolutely free. That’s how I “read” it.

It looks like Friedman is doing this giveaway as part of a promotion for his upcoming book, Hot, Flat, and Crowded, which is about his most recent area of focus - “green business” and earth-saving technology.
